The Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge are preparing for our show at Goose Creek Gallery in Bedford starting May 9th. The show is called "The Big 5".  The paintings are all 36" x 48".  Don't know what the title of my painting will be but I still have a little time to decide.

Above is a photo from "Spring Sensations" the art show at 2nd Helpings Gallery. The art featured is by the members of the Double Line Painter of the Blue Ridge. They are Judy Lochbrunner, Mary Anne Meador, Bonnie Mason, Sue Furrow and myself.  As usual we had a great time and lunch.

We invite you to the reception on Saturday, April 8th from 1PM to 3:00 PM.  The show includes works in oil, acrylic, watercolor and Mixed media.  Also there is a door prize. If you are unable to make it to the reception, feel free to stop by 2nd Helpings when you can.  The Gallery hours are 10-3 Monday through Saturday.  2nd Helpings in located in Roanoke, Va. the address is 1502 Williamson Road.

Setting in my studio and planning what to do next.  A lot going on.
The Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge will be featured at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA thru the month of November. I am guessing there will be approximately 50 pieces of art. "Tea For Two" is one of my paintings that will be in the show.

Busy, Busy

The Double Line Painters of the Blue Ridge have been very busy.  This means that I have also been busy.
We currently have a show at The Arts Depot in Abingdon, VA and a upcoming workshop at the Evergreen Lavender Farm in Appomattox, VA.  Visit doublelinepaintersoftheblueridge.com for information on the workshop.
I have been able to finish two paint I have thought about for some time. Koi and On the Horizon.
